This is almost certainly your last chance to help the village get SuperFast Broadband!

Sadly, as of 6th June, Dorset County Council reported that Burton Bradstock had only 96 registrations out of 600 households/businesses!  (Each household counts one vote).   We need at least 200 for DCC to consider us seriously.

Why is it important to have it?   As technology is moving at an ever faster rate, we will soon see it as an essential.   It will be used, for example,

By the time you read this, you will (hopefully) have had a leaflet and questionnaire put through your letter box.   If you haven’t registered already, it is very important for the future of the village, that you do what you can to improve our chances of having the new fibre optic service installed, by registering your interest (with absolutely no commitment on your part) with Dorset County Council.   It could be the deciding factor as to whether DCC, and their chosen supplier, put Burton Bradstock on the priority list or not.    Some 5% of rural Dorset will not get it, so we have to fight for our corner!

It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a computer, your vote would count!  Perhaps you could get help in the Library or from a friend?

There are three ways to register:

Please do this without delay, and encourage others to do so.   This is a long term project (30+ years), WE MUST NOT be denied superfast broadband.
